• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Not sure what the goalkeeping pecking order looks like at the moment and we didn't get to see much of Watts from a shotstopping perspective but right now for me its probably Vigouroux > Broome/Watts > Fisher

We've made more back passes to the keeper since our first team midfield has been on

We look so much worse in centre mid now. Fulton & Cooper are probably on twice what Abdulai is paid but he was doing both of their “jobs” first half.

Really hope it finally sinks in to Williams that Fulton is a wasted space in the team

Vigouroux > Broome/Watts > Cabango > Fisher...

Based on that hour of football for the fringe players in my opinion the ones ready for first team involvement:
Pedersen
Tjoe-A-On (no surprises on these two)
Abdulai (fairly impressive in the middle, plenty of ground covered and always getting involved)
Franco (again no surprise here)

Maybe Thomas but we didn't get any service into him to judge him by.
Lissah needs to improve his reading of the game and defensive lapses

Have to think that Abdulai is nailed on as a squad player now, always impressed previously but he's now timed looking decent with us having a dearth of centre midfielders.

I'm all for him featuring ahead of Fulton, but we still need an extra body in there or we're left with Grimes, Franco (unknown quantity), an old, injury prone Allen, and a permanently out of form Fulton.

Eom looks a real threat down the left... having no striker or presence in the box is really evident again

Agree, but in the second half he showed he’s much better on the ball and has better distribution than cabango. Maybe he’s yet another centre mid rather than a centre back?

Parker starting to get more involved now, a couple of good runs and crosses into the box.

He punted a cracking 50 yard crossfield ball to Congreve in the second half and another time he turned a defender and carried the ball about 30 yards to the edge of the box and put in a decent ball towards Thomas which was cut out.

That kind of play from the back is invaluable, he is only 19 so he has time to cut that defensive frailty out of his game. If he can he can be some player but right now its a real achilles heel for him.
