why have ticket prices risen?
the silly money that came into the game from Sky et al...driving up transfer fees
I get the physical impairment bit...and yes there aere many who canno afford tickets butbits a vicous circle....they are many who watch at home via sticks or streama who dont fall into those categories....tje xlub needs revenue ....the availabilty of "pirate" viewing is makimg things worse
Pirate viewing is there mainly because football isn't providing the level of service that people in 2025 generally expect.
Fast forward 10 years and if there was no more 3pm blackout, e-season tickets made available with a reliable feed, and priced at a reasonable price, then it would drive piracy out of the game. Everyone wins.
Football and football clubs can moan all they like about piracy, but it's a problem mainly of their own making.
