I’m guessing Rusty’s talks with the owners Stateside didn’t go particularly well…

… he’s been back a couple of days now and no news from the club.

If talks had been positive surely the club would have issued some sort of statement?

There was rumours he went out there a day later, so seems early he’s back if he’s definitely back in Swansea now.

If we don’t get any news next week, then it’s not happening imo, maybe that’s why Manning and Lati haven’t signed deals because they know something re Martin not staying here.

They haven't signed deals because we're not offering them enough money, don't be naive. Manning wants top wages beyond what Championship clubs can afford (that many clubs will pay), while Latibeaudiere is on a small wage by senior standards similar to Paterson when he first signed and wants to be brought up to first team level.

Football365.com have Manning in their list of Championship players likely to get a move to a PL club this summer. Even if that doesn't happen, I'd think it likely he gets a lucrative offer from another Championship club with more money than us.
