Can not wait for him to get started. Maybe it will go wrong but at least he is somebody who has coached a lot of games and has proven experience at putting successful teams together who score goals.

I think Santos and Fulton will instantly be surplus to requirements and Cullen may be on the fence. But the rest of him seem to fit with his reputation and style. The loanees could all go back in January. Benson and Yalcouye because it has not worked at all for them and the rumours are we are signing more competition for Yalcouye. The other two I worry their teams will want them to play more.
Ffs what aload of bollocks yalcoure has looked bright give him a few more games on the bounc3

You think Santos will be surplus to requirements !!

He was surplus to requirements at his last club and was never required at Swansea.

it clearly started slipping from 2016.....when the original yanks got their hands on the club
Sounds compelling but it's simply not true. The club was going down the Rick Witter for about 2 or 3 years before that. The Europa League bloated the squad and increased the wage bill, then the signings of Ayew and Gomis compounded that with extortionate salaries on long term contracts that we couldn't really afford.

When the Chuckle Brothers came in, HJ had not long had to sell Shelvey to solve serious cash flow problems. No wonder he couldn't sell the club quick enough, he was in way over his head. Them keeping him on as chairman only did more damage.

Signings fell off the side of a cliff when he sacked Laudrup, nothing to do with fees, timing of selling players, the fault lay with one person and one person only and that was Gonzo.
I’m Suprised that Roque Mesa’s name rarely pops up in the hall of shame.
At least Clucas played some games.
Narsingh equally as shit.

Partly true, up to 2012 when he appointed Laudrup. But after that he completely lost his shit, big time.

Also, in the background, we didn't know it at the time but he was running the club so badly that we had to sell Shelvey to Newcastle in January 2016 or we'd have been struggling to keep the lights on. He did a self pity interview at the time like it was something that had been done to him, when it was his fault we started dishing out unsustainable wages to shite free transfers like Ayew and Gomis.

That's before we even get on to how the club was sold, enough said about that.

It's a shame how it ended, but he will know he should never show his face round here again, and rightly so.
I think you being a bit ingenious with your “Partly true”

When you consider way back in 2002 Brian Flynn, then Kenny Jackett started the ball rolling, followed by Roberto, Brendan then Laudrup, who probably 100% of us thought, Michael Laudrup, coming to Swansea City, WTF ??

Im also desperately hoping someone in our new back room staff has that football nous, to supplement all that data analysis, heat maps, GPS vests, ect ect

Kenny Jackett was a bit of a cunt in fairness.
