Aye just like Tammy Abraham and Marc Guehi, both not our players...

He has not looked worthy of a starting position and we may have two 2-4m pound players plus Stamenic, Galbraith and Franco competing for his position. Which of those five do you want to sideline to give him the run in the team to see if it is worth it?

Vipotnik wasn't worth a run in this team this time last year. Think on.

That makes zero sense. This time next year Yalcouye will not be a Swansea player. Why would we give him a run ahead of our players we need to develop in the long term, so that he is ready for the team he plays for next season?

I would say that all bets are off as far as our midfield is concerned IF Hellberg is as "all action" as some people believe.

Hard to say who will get a look in.

You'd think. Yalcouye's natural position may conflict with Widell's though. Do we push MW forward in the meantime? Lots of variables.

It's our level mate, loans are a thing. Some come off, most don't. Wake up and smell the coffee️.

I understand this, I just do not see why we would make it a priority to give him games on the bounce to see if he is good enough for this level. That seems like something you would do if you did not understand how loans work at our level.

Some come off most don't. But I take your point

Whoever the manager is, he will pick what he sees as the best team he can from the players he has available on a game by game basis. Surely that is every manager's remit?

The priority is putting out a team that will will and the best chance includes loan players any manager worth his salt will do exactly that.

For what it's worth if Hellberg or whoever comes wants a high quick pressing team (which I hope they do) then Yalcouye will play (imo)

Got to go with the best eleven regardless of if they're a loanee or not.

I do get the point of developing other clubs players over our own, though.

I think there’s a good chance Yalcouye will be recalled by Brighton in January. Don’t think he’s had the impact they would have liked after he played champions league football last season

I think all fans want to see their own players achieve alot but as you said we should always be putting out our best 11, regardless if it's with loans or not. It worked for Cooper, yes I know.... We paid for it a bit after ton of those loans left. Its about balance. My point being, you don't go and rent a video from blockbusters to not watch it and go and watch your own VHS 😂😂📹📹📹. #retro

Seems like a solution but who knows, something Sheehan wouldn't have done but we're just guessing about Hellberg.

Bristol City v Swansea City
