Took this back in 2010 whilst walking along the banks of the Thames. Very common up there now.

In the last few weeks I've been to various parts of London including Hampstead Heath, Kennington Park, Fitzroy Square Gardens, Clapham Park, and there have been dozens of them in every location only outnumbered by pigeons!
 
Every now and again I see this beautiful green and / perhaps pale yellow bird in my garden - very rare - have no idea what it is and can’t find online. Fairly sure it’s not a tit as too big, perhaps size of small crow/ blackbird
