Spent most of this past week in Portugal and was hoping they'd get through to the WC semis as Wednesday evening could have been a bit of fun in the local TV bars. Didn't happen but I got a few nice pics.

These 2 of an Osprey, it was a very cloudy and dark day with occasional rain and far from ideal for outdoor photography but these came out much better than I was expecting after I brightened them up a bit. You can get an idea of how dark and grey the sky was in the 2nd one.

An Azure Winged Magpie, one of about a dozen keeping a very close eye on me eating a sandwich at a neighbouring picnic table and waiting to fight over any crumbs. I did tip the remains of a bag of crisps onto the table before vacating and within seconds it was absolute mayhem.

I don’t think he’s talking to me as it is because I said he was like a minge at rugger so I’d better not laugh at that.
