• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Everyone talks about Ronaldo at 39, but what about 41 year old Pepe, these guys are freaks mun

Whatever happened to that Portuguese lad who was on loan with us for a season and was bluddy useless, then come June at the end of his loan he went off to the 2016 Euros and scored the winning goal in the final?

Eder

That's the guy. Just Googled him, my memory was faulty, he wasn't on loan, we signed him on a three year contract but shipped him out on loan after a year. He's 36 now and packed in playing two or three years ago.
That was a bit of a fluke. He didn’t play a lot of football or do much after he left us. I don’t think he’d done much before he joined us either. That was an odd signing.

Right up there with David Ngog

The only thing specific I can remember about Eder in a Swansea shirt was him having a goal shockingly disallowed in an away game, against WBA I think?

Although as I'm writing this, I'm starting to think that was actually Lamah, which would mean I remember nothing about Eder playing for us...

This implementation of VAR is so much better than the Premiership’s version

It was. Lamah I mean. Eder didn’t really get much chance, which doesn’t mean he wasn’t crap. God, we bought some garbage up front in the PL, and since.
