• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I wonder what the odds were for Gjasula to score, score an own goal and be booked

Apparently it was only the 2nd time in Euros history that a player has scored at both ends in a game. Add a booking into that and it might be the only time it's ever happened. Pretty good odds I'd say.

Fair play to bot6h sides neither sides would give up, Croatia has the gods looking down on them fair play, they had more Jam than Hartley's.
Cracking comeback by the Albanian's though in sneaking an injury time equaliser

We would be slaughtered in this comp if we qualified. Rob Page has been spared another tournament embarrassment

Hell of a finish from Shaqiri
I loved the little man when he played for Liverpool, he scored more than a few goals like that one tonight, proper talented player.

The Scotland v Switzerland game was more than decent, both sides had decent chances that could have won the game.

The only thing specific I can remember about Eder in a Swansea shirt was him having a goal shockingly disallowed in an away game, against WBA I think?

Although as I'm writing this, I'm starting to think that was actually Lamah, which would mean I remember nothing about Eder playing for us...
Yes, I was at that WBA away game when Lamah had that perfectly good goal disallowed but I was also at a game at Southampton when Eder had a perfectly good goal disallowed but it was disallowed because the ref had blown a split second earlier to award us a pen! Iirc, we missed the pen and lost the game. I went to Southampton quite a few times and I don't think we ever came away with 3 points. Unfortunately, I did on one occasion having been nabbed by a speed camera. 🤬 I reckon in 4-5 visits, I came away with more points than the Swans. 🤣🤣🤣

Christ if the Grimester was Danish he’d be captain.

Is Martin moonlighting as Denmark’s coach?
