• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

we have signalled as hard as possible

31 jan is my prediction for ins and outs

As far as Ogbene goes if no one else wants him we'll likely play the waiting game.
As for our 3 outgoings it's like something you have in the wardrobe but you just don't wear anymore.
You think it's still worth a bit but potential buyers don't see it your way. In that case you would try and get what you can for it, It's no use to you anymore.

This would be a great loan. Can't see liverpool loaning him to us after thr rhys williams situation though.

He’ll be off to Watford then.

We don't need another young defender. What we need is a older head to manage the young we have and not give RM any more reasons to blame the youth. And no, Naughton isn't the answer

So is this another window being 'personally overseen by Silverstein'?

Going well isn't it....

Just a quick recap - who have we signed so far as we need to strengthen in a few areas and a keeper now?

So I believe we currently have less players than we started the window with, none of the 3 unhappy players look remotely close to leaving, meaning we have no chance of signing our main target (Ogbene) who will either stay at Rotherham or end up at Millwall or Boro, one of our other targets seems to have chosen fucking Wigan over us, but it’s all good, because Liam Walsh is close to returning and he’s “like a new signing” 🙄

There is another interpretation of the lack of activity, and I don't in any way say it's right, but owners may have looked at Martin, his league record, taken advice from whoever, and decided - nah! They've got enough people around the club to give them good advice.

So no money, save it for the summer. If that were right, I would not be un-happy. He'll only spunk it on useless MK Dons players, or the club will bring in useful players that he won't pick.
