Didn't get chance because our centre forward was alert and quicker to the ball.
Don't know what point you're trying to make, it's a bit odd.. he should've been where he was, the defenders weren't.. he wasn't alert, he was a yard out ffs and the keeper literally threw it to him.. being clever from a yard out is a f*cking stupid thing to say

The point is pretty straightforward.

Out of 5 players around the ball he was the quickest to react. I know you have an issue with saying anything positive about one of players.

You don't understand football, you and Lisa have never played the game, it's obvious from the sh*t you spout on football.. he followed up a shot hoping the keeper f*cks up from 1 yard out.. it wasn't clever, genius or anything.. well done Idah, doing something coaches have drilled into you from age 7

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

If Idah wasn't there to tap it in, our coaching staff would've shot him with a sniper rifle.. you're the furthest forward, follow up, it's not clever.. he's been taught it since age 7
You missed the point.

If you watch it back rather than just follow up he took a slight step back away from the keeper and defenders rather than go for the ball. That meant he couldn’t be pulled up for impeding the keeper or fouling a defender (which every ref on the planet is trying to give if they can when a keeper drops the ball). It was clever play.

The Leeds thing is rather complicated, I was brought up in the shadow of Elland Road, however I chose Swansea as my team (because they beat Leeds 5-1), however still live in Leeds and my daughter is a big Leeds fan (obivously I like them as well).

Lot's of Swansea links with Leeds in the past few years, Dan James obivously, Joe Rodon (he was fantastic last night against Palace), Joe Piroe, Connor Roberts, Pablo Hernandez (he was sublime for 5 years at Leeds).

My grandad watched Leeds home and away in the 60's & 70's and he always said that John Charles was the best player he ever saw play football, back in the 1990's I used to go in Peter Lorrimer's pub before games and John Charles was usually sat at the bar entertaining the Leeds fans, he such a good guy (shame he never played for Swansea).
I remember the 5 1 as though it was yesterday. Was sitting in the double decker with my grandfather (where we’d been every game for the 5 years previous) and no one could believe it. It was just a glorious day.

The links have always been strong - Terry Yorath as well of course.

Au contraire.

I was an integral part of the Arsenal Invincibles team before I transitioned…

It's one of the arts of being a striker. Lineker scored 95% of his goals inside the 6 yard box because he anticipated a mistake or hoped there would be one. Jimmy Greaves likewise. It's good play whether you think so or not. Don't come the "never played the game" shit.

He's the all time record goal scorer for St Joesph's second team, mun.

But you have never played the game couldn't be more true.. he's been coached to do this since age 7.. he was a yard out.. the keeper threw the ball at him ffs, it's not clever.. simpletons on Planet Utopia strike again..

Vipotnik wouldn’t have scored it.

Different strengths.

I played Welsh League. It’s not very important or clever.
Obviously you played for Real Madrid. Well done.

Or maybe you know nothing but like a cliche?

I'm not trying to be clever, it's just the fact the keeper luckily threw a ball at him 0.1 yards out.. but it's Idah's footballing genius that got that goal
