Anyone know who this ex Premier league defender is we are looking to sign? Reports he was in Swansea on Thursday.
Joel Ward was supposedly down the stadium but that was well over a week ago.
Could be another player if there was someone down there Thursday?

That's what is reported. Last Thursday and we are negotiating the deal. Let's hope its someone defensively solid. Either way looks like we'll get one and it releases Galbraith into midfield 👍

I doubt it, if its a free agent, they won't have played in months so will likely just be brought in as cover and maybe allow Parker to go on loan. Don't envisage them playing much at all.

I don’t think that was reported by a reliable source was it? I didn’t see Tom Coleman (he is an official source for the club despite the doubts) or Vital Swansea saying anything about that, they are the only two I would trust for transfer news based on previous windows.

Interesting if we are looking at an ex PL defender, if we get a RB in, we could move Galbraith back into the middle to give ourselves even more MF rotations.

Joel Ward can play centre half also.
Just a thought, if we moved Santos on and got Ward in to cover until the end of the season, wouldn't be such a bad move that?

No way 36 year old Ward would be coming in to play RB, imo he’s an option if Casey gets recalled.

Swap a perfectly decent squad player for a 36 year old who has played 2 games in over twelve months.

No thanks, these type of signings are hopefully a thing of the past.
