Dont have a pop at Dimi or the owners, not even Doris the dinner lady!

🤣🤣
He's basically said we're pushing for the play offs.. and the only team we've beat who's half tidy is Wrexham, and we needed a full house, a deflected goal and a keeper to throw it in the net because of Adam Idah's genius!

Don't worry everyone, we've got the tennis expert on football transfers and admitted we spent 7 million on Adam idah and we're a shoe-in for the play offs.. except the fact Millwall should've beat us 6 or 7-1.. honestly, fans are not turning up.. it's empty down there, except a piss up on Friday night against Wrexham
Over 17k for both Oxford and West Brom and over 18k for Portsmouth. 😗

Where has he said that?
I don't believe he or any of the owners have said that.

If I'm the manager of a club I'm looking at giving youngsters their opportunities not blocking their pathway by signings 36 year old players who not played in 18 months.

Only way we'll find out if the kids are good enough is by giving them their chance.
But if I'm the manager of a club I'm not looking to use players who are not good enough and potentially losing my job because I don't win enough games.

Matos is not the first manager to overlook Parker.

Not seen owners, Tom G, Matos nor Arran Worth say that? Do you have a link?

They haven't to be fair, he's going all in on a poster who he believes to be someone linked to the club.
There are clearly a few posters who let things slip and the suggestion is there but Penlan can't go off that 100%.

That said, I am quite confident that behind closed doors that there was confidence that we would be doing alot more than what we are presently. I believe there would have been a confidence that this squad would be challenging towards or in the top 8.

Lost count of the hysterical tweets I saw claiming we were going up. Absolute madness. They could have signed the most skillful players on the planet but they still have to adapt to a system the manager is implementing and gel as a team.

Throw into the mix the manager was relatively inexperienced and it was a considerable rebuild of the previous seasons team.

The realistic expectation from my point of view was mid table.
Having said that, who knows where we could have been with Matos from day 1. But thats speculation. Just going to focus on the here and now. Work in progress. 👍

There was a lot on here with silly expectations and even a poll on here will show it.
Unfortunately for most, I think the realistic ones will admit that we are bottom end of their expectations although recent form has eased a few concerns, hopefully not at the detrement of being complacent though.
