• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

To hope Fester keep missing open goals?
it seems to be more than that right now

this is way more in the balance than most feared

maybe the hard work, back on the grass pronto on Friday lunchtime, and every day since, is paying off, already

We’ve actually been decent the last 15 mins

Much better from Yates…

Ashby, Fulton and Wood are the weak links
Yeah, we’ve settled. Piss poor there though with us having the ball in their box and then it’s back with Rushworth within about 5 passes.

This reminds me of the home game. We look settled and they look completely unthreatening, but they’ve got the quality to get a goal out of nowhere.

Cullen hasn't earned the right to be the arm flailing diva he's always been

Its worth considering that the last three games are essentially us vs Premier League teams.
So was Newport vs Man U Sham and they are two divisions below and didn't just roll over.

If we can keep it to one or somehow nick a goal, you never know. I think that defensive calamity will do us in though.

We’ve got nothing in the middle of the pitch linking Grimes/Fulton to Yates. No option there at all. It’s presumably the plan to overload the wings, but the lack of anything central is one reason we normally end up retreating when we get near the final third. Makes us quite predictable.

Was it the game plan to play shit for 25 minutes (and prime the opposition with a 5-0 defeat prior to that), to sucker them in. Then start playing a bit?

Stunning save from Rushworth, but that again was caused by Wood doing his best impersonation of a donkey having an aneurism.
