• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

England 325

Australia lead by 91 runs.

England p1ss poor against the short ball.

Add on the 150 runs Crawley said England would win by, England have a 59 lead.

Game still in the balance in real terms though. Tough gig batting in this.

If England need 300 to win in the 4th innings, how are they going to approach it?

Will say it again, England's approach has to be different against the likes of Australia than most other Test sides, not saying they don't have to try and dictate the pace of thier innings, but take conditions/ quality of bowling into account, this Australian attack even minus Lyon and a hit or miss Starc (3/83) commands respect...

With Nathan Lyon injured and likely to miss the rest of the series. I can't see any decent declaration, and Australia will try and bat England out of the match.

Starc has always been Australia's "Blitzkrieg" type bowler - and if he goes for a lot of runs it doesn't seem to matter.

On his day and with the right conditions his bowling usually comes off - as his Test record shows - 310 wickets @ 27.64

I’ve said all along he’s a world class bowler and ECB doesn't know what he’s talking about.

Australia are battling and refusing to give their wickets away.

Compare and contrast with England.

Broad off celebrating. What a tool that bloke is
