• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Well done England the Woakes and Wood show wins it, why weren't they picked before this test?

Wood and Woakes what players you just gotta love test cricket, that was outstanding

Just as an illustration of how close these games have been, despite some of the narrative that England have been hammered.

England runs scored 1,809
Australia runs scored 1,850

England wickets taken - 58
Australia wickets taken - 55.

England benefited from the conditions yesterday evening just like Australia did in the last test when the storm was rolling in after lunch, that's how close it is between these teams...

Absolutely. Every one of these games could quite easily have gone either way. A fantastic series between two evenly matches teams.

Agreed. Bazball isn't going anywhere either, whether people like it or not. Wood comes in at number 9 and conventional wisdom would be to play defensive and get Woakes on strike. Instead he goes for 16 from 8 balls!

Doing fencing mush between showers, kin mare digging down for the posts, it all clay

Big, big blow, not the loss, but Bairstow being more than likely dropped for next game.

Doubt it Risc, he and Stokes big mates. It'll be Anderson for Robinson I think.

Happy days! But no so happy days with Anderson coming back in for Robinson.
