• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Oh really. I thought it was a loan with a commitment/option to buy…
Swansea City is delighted to announce the signing of striker Adam Idah from Celtic, subject to international clearance.

The 24-year-old joins the Swans for a significant undisclosed fee and has put pen to paper on a five-year contract in SA1. He will wear the number 33 shirt.

I suspect the club will want to milk the Idah signing for a bit before announcing more incoming, if we have loaned Samuels-Smith and/or signed Benson (which would be pretty stunning).
If both of those comes off we literally are in a case of 2 for every position which is a rare level of luxury in the championship

Strikers:
Vipotnik
Idah
Wales
Cullen

Wingers:
Inoussa
Eom
Ronald
Benson

Midfield:
Galbraith
Franco
Stamenic
Yalcouye
Widell
Fulton

Defenders:
Cabango
Burgess
Casey
Santos
Tymon
Key
Parker

Goalkeepers:
Vigouroux
Fisher

For the business end of the pitch that is a pretty monstrous lineup by championship standards
One of the big bonuses for me is that very few of the squad are out of contract next summer.

Two back up goalkeepers and Fulton who’ll presumably all move on and 2 (3 if Samuels-Smith is confirmed) loan players.

Need to sort out a few contract renewals for those finishing in 2027 over the next 6 months, but it’s looking far better in the medium/long term than it has for a while!

Hats off to Montague and the board and agent dimi they have done a spectacular job this summer rebuilding a broken squad
