Reminds me of the day my wife's relatives asked us if we'd be interested in going to see an albino Elk that had been born on an Elk farm "nearby". We set out from Umea and two and a half hours later arrived at the farm less than 100 miles from the Arctic Circle. Got out took a few photos and drove back. The other highlight was passing Jesper Blomqvist's family home. I was asked if I wanted to get out of the car to take some photos but politely declined.

That's extraordinary, looks like it's been sprayed with hi-vis paint!

There have been rumours recently of a melanistic all black fox being seen on the Somerset Levels. Not sure if they're true though and I doubt it tbh.

Has it only been seen at night K?

Just arseking like.

Did a bit of digging and found out it had escaped from captivity and is apparently called Wilf!:-

AN extremely rare black fox which once escaped onto the streets of Manchester has again gone on the run - bringing traffic to a standstill in Somerset.

Wilf made headlines in 2017 when he was spotted on the loose in Sale, Greater Manchester, where he was being kept as a domestic pet.

He now lives at Animal Farm Adventure Park in Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset, where he absconded on December 27.

A queue of cars built up in the nearby village of Brean as motorists pulled over to take in the unusual sight.

Experts estimate that around 0.1 per cent of foxes in Britain are melanistic (black), which is the opposite of albinism.
