I thought he was looking at a climbdown as he’s starting to distance himself from the lunacy of AFD, in a subtle face saving way. He really is a tyre-kicking time waster of the highest order, but I kinda like him. He’s a pier piper to the lunatics and fantasists on there and although it’s slightly embarrassing and cringeworthy it is mildly entertaining.

Nothing to dislike about him, he’s perfectly polite etc. Why anyone bothers engaging with him is beyond me though. Especially on that subject when from the early days of that brilliant thread he displayed (and continues to display) a fundamental lack of understanding of how US politics, the US constitution and the US legal system works.
