Wales would be in the semi finals with England's draw

Wales beat the Czech Republic in a World cup qualifier at home by the same scoreline as England.

Wales fairly recently drew with Croatia 1-1 at home, England beat the Croats 1-0, but England only drew at home to Scotland, Wales have beaten Scotland the last few times, in fact I think Wales have beaten Scotland 5 out of the last 6 times and Wales were likely not just to beat the Scots but hammer them.

I think Wales would have beaten Germany, the Germans have recently lost at home to North Macedonia in the World cup and only snatched a late draw at home to Hungary, Wales recently beat Hungary in a winner takes all match 2-0, Wales have beaten Germany/West Germany a couple of times and this historically is one of Wales better teams while this is one of Germany's poorest teams, so a Wales win at home would have been a possibility.

Wales would easily have beaten Ukraine on neutral ground, Wales with a superior World ranking.

If Wales had had England's draw and home games, Wales would be in the semi's, England for their part might not have qualified out of the group if they had had Wales draw, England might have lost away to Italy and it would all depend on what they could have done against Switzerland out in Asia.

It's possible that based on the evidence that given the same draw and home advantage as England have enjoyed that if Wales had had the same Wales would be back in the semis like they were in the previous Euros.

All full of if's and ands. On our day and with home advantage we may have made it to the semis.
On an average day we would not.
England are no world beaters, but things have fallen well for them so far.
Assuming they and Italy reach the final, I can only see one winner.
Sorry guys, football isn't coming home this year

England have got a formula that suits them and is effective.
And, whenever a tournament is played in England (as, to all intents and purposes it has been for them) they do well.
Hopefully Italy will bring their AAAAA game to the semis and then have the England fatboys chasing shadows in the final.

Well by your logic Denmark should beat them as they beat us so no worries
My logic is based on recent results in Euro qualifiers, World cup qualifiers and Euro finals games plus world rankings if teams haven't played recently.
And it was possible if not probable that if Wales had had home advantage and the same fixtures as England then Wales would have been back in the Euros semis for the second successive time.
It does not mean this current Wales team is as good as England's current team and it does not mean that Denmark will beat England or England will beat Denmark it just means that if Wales were lucky enough to have had England's fixtures with home advantage apart from the Ukraine game then Wales might well have reached the semi finals themselves.

Ifs and buts though
We had the short straw, especially when Eng and Scot both got to play at home, but Switzerland had the same issue as us and got further
Im super happy with getting out of the group, we're a small nation and until we qualify for a World Cup are punching well above our weight with our last 2 Euros results

I think Denmark have a very good chance tbh.

I reckon theyll do England, England have looked uncreative up front and arent as solid defensively as their results suggest

Swansea City v Leeds United
