• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Shame to hear that about the Harbourmaster. I've had multiple stays there with the better half, usually taking the dinner, bed and breakfast option. Their rooms are lovely, especially the bigger (and more expensive) ones. Always had good food there and no problems with the staff, although I'm sure I read the owner there being one of those in the media talking about the difficulty of getting staff these days. Hopefully they'll improve the situation in the future.

Sounds like a cracking trip and reading the above has made me hungry!

My cousin stayed there the 2 nights before us and said how good it was, it's where they always stay and I trust their judgement so much that we changed our meal reservation because of them. Sadly ours was just a total shambles.

Y Seler was known as the Celtic restaurant

Pub is still a pub then on the same side of the road on the left going towards Harbour car park?

I think so. Spend more time around Gower these days.
Love the place

Got to drive everywhere though.

Right Max kid, this thread is well on its way to six pages! You'd better not let us down and come up with something special 😀

I wouldn't call it a pub, not in The Pilot mould, more on the trendy side of things. Very nice though.

Thank you all for the nice recommendations! I also want to visit Western Wales in the following months, and knowing the best accommodation places is essential since I plan to move from one city to another a lot.
