• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Tehran is really good, I watched up to Season 2, then it stopped, with the ongoing conflict, but I have just noticed that Apple have finally released Season 3, which I will definitely get stuck into shortly.

Is that subtitles all the way through? Watched the first five mins then sacked it due to the subs.

Too be honest, it’s been so long since I watched it, I can’t say 100%, but I have a vague recollection of subtitles, you should have persevered with it NJ, come to think of it, yes subtitles, but after the first episode you hardly notice them, I’m absolutely chuffed Apple have finally released Season 3, off the top of my head sure it’s been paused since late 24.

Went back to it on your recommendation, just starting ep 2 now.

Winter Olympics, all over it like a cheap suit and loving it.😁👍

Jury is still out on the first part of Lord of the Flies for me , great scenery but a bit drawn out in some of the dialogue .

Will keep at it if only to appease my English Literature O level teacher to read it through as part of the end of term maybe questioning as he advised strongly .

Prime time Sunday Night tele on The Beeb , they really have to make it viewer friendly because if I remember it was a then classic must have book , now from a bygone era .

Shakespeare put me off big time too , good pub quiz answers in some of his writings though .

I did pass that O Level exam thereafter .

If you want to see how brilliant Shakespeare really is, start with my favourite comedy, Much Ado About Nothing, with some brilliant actors playing it. If it's still on You Tube, have a butchers at the live theatre recording featuring David Tennant and Katherine Tate. Absolutely 'oytstandin'.

Mayor of Kingstown (Paramount +) excellent.
Just coming up to last episode of season 4 ,I see there is another season scheduled 👍👍👍

I hope you enjoy it, I have to give some credit to Mr Ronald Parp, he was the one who first recommended it.
It’s more than decent in fairness. Bit of a ball ache having to read subtitles though, can only watch one episode at a time, then my eyes are worn out and ready for a kip 😴

Just started wathcing Small Prophets as a look in , Beeb have gone big time on the promotions and Mackenzie Crook even appearing on early morning tele to bang on about it .

Sir Micheal Palin as an actor is way out of his comfort zone it appears , stick to your brilliant travels and feedback them days as a still top quality broadcaster .

Seems Shakespears plays where for an audience at The Globe , that was his target .

School books and boredom sadly did not match with me on that dialogue .

Just caught up on the second episode of Lord of the Flies and maybe a slow burner but stating to binge watch now , it is pretty good storytelling if a bit more easy on the eye viewing.
