Oh yeah, it might take a while, but I think when the crowd turns, unless he changes his approach (unlikely), it would only end one way. Even when you win a few, the losses are more heavily weighted as all the goodwill has been used up. I said that the end of last season was a massive error by him being so uncaring about winning as that was his honeymoon season and he could have built a stock of goodwill after the Doube. It seems he still thinks it's the same now. Unlike Bradley, he's already had a season, but they certainly won't shunt him unless they really have to. I just can't see him riding out a bad crowd reaction himself personally, but I suppose his options are limited there. If he had any perception he would have feelers out now for another job, as he still has his press profile.

Lets just hope, however unlikely, things start improving. The first view of the Grimester crabbing sideways and playing consecutive 5 yard one-twos with Naughts could get an 'interesting' crowd reaction against Millwall I fear. Maybe that's what's needed and the players will then take some responsibility to make something happen. They have been programmed, so I doubt it. Stepford Swans.

I don't think it would matter if he dropped Grimes or Naughton. Whoever comes in will be told to do the same, and deviation will see them dropped.

Stepford is worryingly spot on. Coached within an inch of their lives. Not sure we actually have many mercurial types in the squad now to do anything different. Kind of why I liked Garrick, raw but quick and capable of causing some carnage as he did under Cooper at times.

Just read Cabango's interview about players needing to take responsibility. I think that's going to grate on them before too long, if it hasn't already.

We will pick up enough wins throughout the season to stay up because we have a goalscorer up front and have decent players at this level. The play won't change, slow and rigid. Martin will spout the usual rubbish but 1 game in 8 we might have a good game and play nice football, then back to the usual just like last season.

Unless we keep losing I can't see the owners pulling the plug on him.

I certainly think some peoples expectations are far too high,I wasn’t expecting much before the season started.

The answer to that is no he can't, we've gone into reverse this season so far and it's starting to unravel.
