What nutter takes over if Martin goes?

Do people seriously believe that the likes of Bielsa or Rodgers would work with this basket case of a club with these owners?

They wouldn't get close to paying the wages required.

They'll appoint Kris O'Leary if they ever get round to sacking Martin.

If Swansea are in the relegation zone on New Year's day then I think he's toast. But that's just a guess.

The American owners are unmoved by fans feelings, they really don't matter. They care about the revenue stream, and of course relegation cannot be allowed to happen. There would be no way they could spin that back home. Shout and boo all you want, it won't bother Kaplan and Levien - they have a huge problem, but the fans are not part of it.

He's going nowhere anytime soon. He's their man. That interview when he talks about the direct line should tell you just how secure he is.

Was he trying to sell them insurance? ;)

Levien is a New York Jew. My Jewish friends in London refuse to do business with Isaeli's and New York Jews, anyone else is OK. Levien is New York with strong links in Israel. If he is true to the style, you can call him on the 'direct line' on Sunday night, have a warm and wunnerful conversation, and he'll still sack you on Monday morning without a qualm. That's how it works, don't swim in that pool if you don't like the hooks.

Brutal? They don't see it that way, it's just how things are done.

Brendan Rodgers position looking shakey. They were calling for his head after the EFL cup game. Now they are losing with a man advantage.
Theres no way he would come.... no way...

Even if Brendan Rodgers was sacked I wouldn’t have though he be available for a few months. Its’s my understanding if a coach gets a new job then his new wages are factored in and reduce the settlement from the old club, whereas if he’s out of work there’s nothing to take in to account. Get the cash in the bank then get a new job -winner!!

I think the club is going to struggle to appoint a decent manager; last year the club was an attractive proposition having “just missed out in a play off final” half decent squad etc etc, now in the relegation zone, seemingly skint with no prospect of funds to strengthen the squad. That will be a toxic mix for a lot of decent candidates.

Bielsa absolutely no chance. He wouldn't come to us in the prem and wouldn't pay his wages. Can't see Dyche coming either on what we'd pay. He's had prem wages for 7/8 years. Can't see us paying much compo either so we're looking at an assistant or coach somewhere maybe or a free agent. So realistically I'd say:
- Warner
- Mowbray (but would he want to get back in so soon)
- Toshack (big risk)
- Osian Roberts - my wild card pick. Deserves a chance as a manager in my opinion. But he seems happy at Palace and Vieira is still inexperienced so maybe he isn't viable either.

Osian Roberts is very well thought of and was my fav last time.
