Williams out

That's because we've had Willy in the dressing room.

When Willy is out of the dressing room this is when the Quorum takes real control and the MVP's come to the fore.

Looks like Sheez, Marge, Matty and Joe are about to get their chance to show they can do that consistently.
At which point The Blueprint will come to fruition, "prompto"

Reacting to a month of terrible results isnt beep beep beeping. The majority of people on here have given him fair consideration. Personally I judge managers on results first. By that criteria he no longer has my faith. Nothing to do with backing out of any previous view.

It's a very good point there that perhaps goes under the radar a little. The calibre of people we have these days on the "Trust" (inverted commas there, entirely deliberate) should fill no one with much hope if they are in any way leaning on Coleman and influencing matters. P

You may as well ask the club shop cat what they think, you'd probably get more sense.
The sheer fact they said Coleman was coming to their AGM tells you all you need to know about what this is these days

The recent results have been dreadful but overall in the year we have seen zero progress as a team either in style or consistency

We can blame the squad and the owners and they are equally culpable but Williams football is worse than brand Martin

This time in 2022 (Matchday 29) under Martin we were 16th in the Championship with 35 points and GD of -10. Not much different from where we are now.
In Martin's second season, we were 12th with 39 points and a GD of 0 after matchday 29.

So it's unarguable that statistically speaking, William's football is worse that Martin's in his second season, once he'd had a proper chance to recruit players he wanted and inculcate his playing philosophy into the club.

In terms of entertainment, I still think Williams shades it, taking all the games we've played since he's been manager into account, not just the disastrous run since Christmas.

That's not an argument for retaining him, by the way.

I don't know if they are. I think Franco would have slotted nicely into that side. As much stick as I give Grimes, when he's "on it" he's a much better player than either of those two.

We had a style and a system that worked even if the individual parts weren't particularly outstanding. That's the major difference between now and then IMO. The way we play now makes players look worse, as opposed to then where even a mediocrity like Orlandi could do ok.
I loved Gower, thought he was much underrated. Maligned by the crowd because he wasn't a big gun. Franco and Grimes not fit to wipe his arse and I like them both (well Grimes when he played midfield going forward etc).

I agree with you.

Unless the board are prepared to stump up for a manager with a completely fresh approach that bins pretty much everything to do with the last two coaches, and foots the bill for a comprehensive clear out of the current dressing room, we will almost certainly be back here again in 12-18 months time. Perhaps sooner if it goes tits up a la Duff.

Sad to say it, but I know what my money is on.
I think he's trying to say that the problem is that we aren't spending and that's a top problem. He thinks Williams would do better with some more players. He is not after Luke necessarily going.
You are on the same wavelength as me, I think. Manager out. Backroom out. 90% of the squad out. And eventually, hopefully, the top out with someone who has a clue. That is not what he thinks. He still refuses acknowledgement of Williams inability to coach a Championship team.

This should be THE FOCUS right now.

His most recent self-indulgent antics are the last straw.

Crap coach, crap face of our Club, crap association with Martin, crap previous stuff with our Club.

The very best decision for our Club is to sack him off and finally rid ourselves of the Martin-Willy crap toxicity.

The bounce off and on the pitch will be seismic......

BUMP

This should be THE focus right now.

Nothing else, no matter what the usual bitter and twisted types deflect with.

A totally out his 'dep'f' fraud money grabbing wannabe, just like fraud Martin.

THIS is the focus right now no matter how some puerile peripherals do their darndest to deflect, with whatever deflective tactics they can muster - it's the flaky way of the world right now .....

Williams OUT, along with his flaky, rotten apologists

There aren’t many apologists. There can’t be.

30% win rate, he was actually doing ok when it was 35%, even though that's shocking.. how is he still in post
