Williams out

We can keep sacking managers, won't make a difference. We have zero ambition as a club in general.

Look around the league and you'll see owners who will go for the Premier League, win or bust. We are just happy treading water.

I don't care about the new majority shareholders. We need a complete reset. Club is going absolutely nowhere but some on here will have you believe the future is great - I've got news for you all: it's bleak.

I’ve seen bleak and anywhere in the second ranked league is ok by me, certainly mid table, but it needs to be watchable as well. At the moment we are awful to watch. It comes to something when you can’t even be bothered to stay in front of the telly, never mind go and watch the shite live.

#513 and counting - And yet still no ‘Willy In’ rationale from the challenged, gone missing.

The likes of ANH and Daps (warra a team, couldn’t make it up!)need to step up and proffer some rationale for their irrational ongoing support for a flopping Willy.

‘Weak squad’ simply doesn’t cut it, in so many ways.

Give it yer best shot fellas…….

It's not working so the choice is simple. Keep Luke and see more of the same or bring in a new Manager and spin the wheel of fortune and it could go any way.

I'd bring in Cameron Toshack.

Writing the new owners off after 2/3 months and no transfer window 😂

Blueturds battered again, Dodger.

I'd prefer to go abroad. Failing that, someone like Mowbray if he's ready to return.

Always enjoyed watching his teams play against us. Strong, organised and not dull on the eye in terms of football either.

Top half of the table and I would have bitten the hand off for that if predicted start of the season.

Today was not great all round and can't be excused.

I think if we were all honest, stood back and looked at the table that top half of the season over Xmas is not so bad.

We have a weak squad, we certainly have a thin squad and just because a poster states it doesn't cut it doesn't actually mean it to be true.

It's a bad day today but I think taking a stand back with a big deep breath and a look at a table will be followed with "we are not doing too bad".

If another team of the same ilk as us were sat 12th and got rid of their manager, I think the most rationale of posters would be a bit shocked and ask what are they doing.
Would we though? For a team that has spent decent money over the past few years and nine points clear of relegation, eight away from the play-offs surely it's quite normal to think about making a change with little chance of anything interesting happening this season again.

Just because some fans would be wondering what we are doing doesn't mean it's right. We all mocked Southampton when Adkins was sacked and Pochettino signed. Turned out okay.

In the overwhelming majority of those cases supporters of other clubs are told to butt out because they haven't been watching the team play like that teams fans have and don't have any kind of clue what they're talking about.

You can count on the fingers of one hand where a manager has been sacked despite, on the face of it, doing well and the supporters of that team have been disgruntled about it. Robins at Coventry being the most recent. Eustace at Birmingham another.

Tend to get caught up in the emotions of their team which takes logic away in that case.
Tend to be more rationale when looking at it from the outside.

Football fans are fickle and tend to think their club is deserving of more than they are achieving. Our fans have been up there since our relegation for thinking we are far more capable of achieving more.

We're not seeing much different from Martin other than a slightly less suicidal defence.
But that's kind of the point here isn't it.

When Martin was here, we all said I wonder what the ceiling is for this group if they could just defend a bit better.

Well now we're finding out aren't we. The answer is, not much better.

It's because the players are just bang average, plain and simple. They're not the worst group in the division but they are way off being a top half side never mind playoffs.

Sack Williams by all means. But all we'll get is another coach basically teasing out a slightly different take on mid-table football with an average squad, that's all. I don't know, perhaps that's what some people want, perhaps their boredom threshold is low, perhaps they enjoy a bit of upheaval just to make things a bit more interesting. Fine, but it's not for me personally.

Okay, I’ve thought about it and had a babycham. Get the fecker gone and roll the dice. We’re going nowhere with him, no matter what players we have and he’s never going to change. It’s pure misery to watch and looking at the league table is no substitute. I want to be enticed back to the stadium, not repelled from the telly. We’re not one single bit better than when he rolled his peanut into town. Just ram your inverted fullbacks up your arse, stick the gnome Grimes under your arm and don’t let the door hit your arse on the way out. Thanks.

I tend to agree based on almost 12 months of him at the helm.

The style of play is only slightly more bearable than the bearded one from the south coast whose name should not be mentioned any longer.
