• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I mean all this revisionism, we were in a mess last season with an apparent car crash manager and a caretaker yet we are only two points better off.

And this time last season we'd reached the fourth round of the FA Cup too but were in a relegation battle.

Apart from a blip last season, they've hated playing us, however..get the feeling the vermin will be up for Saturday. And the way we've caved in against lower teams is a definite concern.
Are we forgetting how shite that lot are though? 1 win in 15 or something league games isn't it?

Lots of comments about them picking up recently, but it's only because they've managed to not lose a game in a few weeks

Darling and cabango out would not be good, but they are dog shit going forwaed

Head says 1-1

Heart says 1-0 swans

Would rather we never played the fuckers if I'm honest

I was thinking this earlier, they are awful, BUT, they are all on the same page with their tactic:
Park the bus and swarm man with ball and apply pressure

hoof ball up park and all chase

At least it’s a game plan, we don’t even have one of those

Heart says we’ll win too, head says take a draw because we are paper thin

I'd rather we never play them!! Would take two draws a season every time

I've not forgotten how crap Hull and Pompey were either.

I'm thinking of the home win against them last season. We came into the game having taken 10 points from the previous 10 games, while this season Cardiff have taken 8 points from the last 10 games (will obviously change after tonight's game).

So we weren't in great form coming into that game, but were at home, the crowd roared them on and we overwhelmed Cardiff through effort and will as much as playing good football. I can see the tables being turned this time. They're unbeaten in 3 league games and just knocked Sheffield United out of the Cup, while we look like we couldn't fight our way out of a wet paper bag. Combine that with possibly no Darling or Cabango, I'd be more than happy with a point right now.

I agree with you here, we seemed to pull it out of the bag at the end of last season, but this time around I really think we are going to have to scrape something, even a draw.

I really hope it’s a game the squad get riled up for and throw every bit of skill in to it like last year, time will tell if that’s the case and they really want it

Clueless football

I gave it to this game to decide, I think he needs to go

I still can't quite bring myself to call for his head but after this catastrophe today I'll no longer fight his corner.

This is disgraceful. It goes beyond "just losing to Cardiff", this is deeper than that. We're pathetic. There's fuck all to this team.

Why wouldn't you want him gone, he's far worse than duff every was

For the simple reason I am sick of upheaval and I don't see the point in sacking a manager mid season when we're not going up or down.

But, if he went tomorrow, I wouldn't be up in arms about it. He probably deserves it. Today has been putrid.

Yeah fair enough but I would argue that it is better to get someone in now to give him time to build us back up, we are rock bottom at this point.

The only question must be....will we move forward with this guy. If there is anyone with a brain cell, it's not even a question.
