• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Actually it was the Farm Food wankas that overcharged at that particular time, not the Aldi wankas.

My advice would be, if you don't trust supermarkets that rip you off, is to go to your local corner shop, grow your own vegetables and knit your jumpers out of organically grown noodles.

Commercialism aye

So to summarise. If you want a receipt you can have one. If you don’t want a receipt, you don’t have to have one. There. Sorted. Seems fair to me.

Yes, I meant to say,
I really like the brand, the other day had a microwave chips and curry purchased from farm foods, absolutely lovely. Can't really fault the Mayflower brand too be honest.

Spice Tailor, that's all I'm going to say.

Well I will pass on that, thing is jaxs like you said earlier, you spent 30 quid in the co op, I'm not sure what you spent it on, I would hazard a guess it may be beer, for that layout on a Sunday.

So the bottom line is, just give the receipt, and don't ask. Think they can screw the customer?, well not on my watch they won't, I'm keeping a serious eye on these supermarkets, ever since they decided to rip us off over the carrier bag charge, and the wankas are doing the same with the minimum price per unit of alcohol, shafting us all the way.

Did you get a receipt for them?

What do you do if you are undecided? Do you take it anyway in case you do need it in the future or leave it in the hope that you never need it at all?

And if you get one can you take it back?

On a side note on receipts my Mrs has an annoying habit of when she gets them she leaves them in the bottom of the bags for life rather than putting them in the bin. Does that count towards saving the planet somehow?

Nobody has said they dont need a receipt though. They have just said they would say "yes please" if asked if they wanted when.

When they wanted one.

Anyway.

Don't buy bananas from Aldi lads... 👍

Aldi is a strange one for me. Whenever I go I feel I should go more often than I do. But I don't.

I don't think it's anything to do with their stance on receipts though.

Mind you it could be subliminally.

Here's a receipt question I've been asked a number of times.

Would you like your receipt emailed to you sir?

What do we think about this option then?
