• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Nope. You’re going to have to be brave with this, there will be plenty of safe options on the menu.
If it does Teppanyaki cooking, Terryaki, Tonkatsu or Katsu dishes then you have to be ultra-picky not to enjoy that

I agree, and thankfully for Max there are Teriyaki and Katsu dishes available. They come with sides of miso and sushi roll for a little more ethenticity.

Lucky to have a great Japanese restaurant in Liverpool which does a great value lunch (Bento style). Usually go for Pork Tonkatsu with rice, salad and pickles then a choice of sushi/sashimi on the side along with miso. Love ramen as well. Even Wagamama at airports do a decent okonomiyaki at breakfast, albeit with decidedly non-Japanese bacon. My son who is the world's fussiest eater will eat chicken teriyaki and noodles.

Katsu is similar to masala in it, lm a madras, Jalfrezi man

Katsu curry is much, much closer to Chinese takeaway curry than something from India or Bangladesh. Saying that though, if you’re partial to a madras then it’s still difficult to dislike Katsu.

A very simple ordering process in Japan for Katsu curry, state your preference for heat/spice on a scale of 1 to 10.

Dunno what's happening now if we going or when we going.

I will show you something to get you salivating whilst you wait for the plan to be confirmed. Was flicking through old photos earlier and found this beauty from January 2019. Clockwise from the top: prawn and mackerel, snail, soy sauce, some raw white fish, cold mushroom broth.

I lived off bento boxes for a couple of months a as few years back. Every mealtime was an adventure - you think you’re about to put a fondant or sweet in to your mouth and it turns out it was a sea anemone or something……. Enjoy Max. 😂😂

Finding a little block of cold omelette is always a winning moment.
