• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I think Montague said Congreve, Wilson & Cotterill will be the ones coming into the squad in pre season to see how they do.
Yeah he did say that. Think Wilson and Cotterill might do well. Congreeve, again i know he has done well on loan, but his defensive side when needed was lacking under Martin. But hey who did well under him 😂😂

Yeah then Martin spat him out like a piece of shite, shocking man management to be honest, good to see him doing well under Freddie Woodmans old man.

Aye one mistake after about 25 minutes leading to a goal and then he got hooked immediately after and thrown under the bus in the post match interview.

Was the most flabbergasting piece of man management I have ever seen in football

Exactly. Saying otherwise is a little odd.

We're not exactly over loaded with decent players in midfield.
Especially a player who has been signed to play in the number 10 position
O'Brien and Franco have filled in there at times, but neither has the craft and guile that you really want in the attacking midfield position, just lots of energy and industry.

Bulls and china shops come to mind

Definitely one area of the pitch we've been lacking in talent for a while.

Cullen and Cooper have had ago and are far too inconsistent to rely on over the duration of a season.

I'm excited about seeing this lad in action next season.

Pushing towards 45% now 😁

Good to see people starting to get on side with him, not an easy task but people are starting to take to him....not an easy task in getting people on side that is.

The Athlone assassin 🙈

The Athlone Ass is in :D

If Sheehan takes 7 points or better from the remaining 12, it would be a very brave person to not give him the job.

We were on our knees when he came in. There was all sorts of nonsense going on - kamikaze fullbacks, pitter patter poncing in midfield, wingers that couldn't/wouldn't wing, strikers not making runs, etc.

He's been an antidote to all that.

I'm still sympathetic to the idea he might turn out to be the new Garry Monk - something still nags at me about that - but if we're talking about working with what you've got and extracting the most out of limited resources, then I'm sorry, I refuse to believe that right now there's much better out there for our budgets and for the limited group of players we have.

It's Sheehan in for me, as long as we don't shit the bed in the last 4 games.
