Summer Transfer Window

Yes we need some cover. But that's probably quite easy to come by. A couple of loan players who can play across the back 4 should plug those gaps. This will probably be the sort of thing we sort closer to the end of the window, as is traditionally the case.

Ultimately next season, Key, Tymon, Cabango and Burgess are going to be our starting back 4 whenever they're all available. Santos as back up, possibly with some of the youngsters and whoever we may add as cover. That's about as good as it's going to get.

Central midfield will be Franco, Galbraith and Widdell with Eom Cooper and Cullen possibly filling into the more advanced position and then Fulton further back. We could see another player arrive to provide some cover but I wouldn't hold my breath. I'd be happy to see them try out some of the youngsters there.

Unless we can get rid of Fisher, we'll be stuck with him as our number 2.

Of course we need a couple more signings but we're in a decent enough position given the amount of players we've lost recently.

If Inoussa, Burgess and Galbraith prove to be good first team regulars and Wales shows a bit of promise then it's an excellent window in itself and goes a long way to rectify the awful ones we've had recently.

Work to do if we want to push up the table but that was never going to be resolved in one season/window.
I appreciate that loans will play a part as they usually do but I feel uncomfortable with loans being the cover for the fullback positions, the reason I say this is because what's the point of a loan if they don't add to the team. I would rather our youngsters provide cover than a loan

Also if we sign loans as cover/squad player we will end up with players who are not good enough (the better loans from the bigger teams will want to be starting games).

I do think we need a CF and if that's a loan then fine (although McBurnie would be good) and if loans are the order of the day then a loan RB as I don't rate Key at all.

Regarding the keeper situation I don't care about Fisher staying, I'm only concerened if we have to play him for a extended run of games.

Re that photo, the tweet says “in his old local” probably doesn’t mean McBurnie but the person tweeting.

Who knows, this all could be a load of rubbish😂

McBurnie is in the Coracle, my mate has sent me a photo of him playing killer pool with Sam Rodon, I cant repost the picture because the resolution is to large, trying too shrink it.
I can't tell if this a joke or not? If not, pics can be easily reduced. I require evidence 😂😂😂😂
