True, he has some sort of special guest/vip lanyard around his neck which makes me doubt it’s in Swansea, probably at Oasis or somethingSupposedly although not specifically called and no guarantee it was this weekend either
I agree. People suggest looking for better but that costs a lotta WB OllieRelying on an inconsistent number 9 and back filling with Cullen is not a great option. We need some , physicality, his press, decent in the air and hold the ball up to bring others into the game will improve us in the final third.
But did with King Curt (twice), Robbie and Gylfi.I think there’s better options than Mcburnie and we should be aiming higher
Like someone above mentioned he’s been poor since leaving us and on a downward spiral in his final few playing seasons
Similiar situation with us resigning Allen, Bony, Ayew it hasn’t worked out with us in the past.
People seem to be glossing over his all round game. McBurnie will get you goals in the Championship, but his biggest strength is his strength, his energy to press and his ability to hold up the ball and bring other players into the game.Relying on an inconsistent number 9 and back filling with Cullen is not a great option. In just over 20 full games of league football he got 3 goals and 6 assists, almost a goal involvement every other game. When you look at the top assists table for La Liga he is joint 13th and occupies an almost identical minutes played, appearances, etc to Luka Modric

People were creaming themselves over the idea of Modric signing for us. Yes Modric is not a striker but look at that list of players, the only other player in that top 16 list that does not belong to a top six club is Dani Rodriguez from Mallorca.
And McBurnie pulled those stats playing for a team that finished 19th and got relegated.
He is a striker with Premier League, Championship and La Liga experience. For people to say they are underwhelmed by this if it comes off is mind boggling, does the entitlement mean you are expecting someone even better than that?
Or do they want to sign a random from a foreign league who plundered a bunch of goals with no idea how they would do in the Championship?
I think 20-25K would be a reasonable amount for himI agree McBurnie would bring a lot to the table for us. I’m only worried about his wages, he was earning 30k+ a week last season. He will probably have to take a pay cut with Hull out of the equation and it doesn’t look like many teams are after him. There’s no transfer fee for him but how much of a pay cut do you think he’d take?
That's because they are expensive if proven.Well we need the experience and on field leadership of McB
We have signed a number of players without Championship experience
Think about Toshack signing players right for the division we were moving up to, and discarding Crudgington Rushbury etc and we haven't prioritised Champ experience enough
Wasn’t there a midfielder we signed for a second time? Little guy originally from West Ham? That worked out pretty well as I recall. But did with King Curt (twice), Robbie and Gylfi.
