Summer Transfer Window

Signed decently to be fair.

Got a decent squad of around 24 players with more to come apparently. They have signed some good experienced players as well.
With a top manager in charge, think they’ll do well this season.

I think in general, patience will be needed. On paper we have quite a tough start and it may take us 5-10 games to get going. Don’t think we can expect to just pick up the momentum of last year even if that’s what AS says he wants.

Disagree I think alot of the classic mid/lower table table teams like QPR Norwich Watford Derby have got considerably stronger compared to last season and add to that that 2/3 newly promoted teams will splash more cash then we can dream of, this is shaping up to be the hardest season since we've been relegated. I seen on a podcast someone say in this division and this season specifically you have to run just to stand still and right now we haven't even started to walk.
Bloody hell, I can over react on match day, but come on.

This could honestly be a cut and paste from last year, and the year before. Law of averages says you eventually will be right, but not today. We have no real idea what the new players are capable of, and to say things like darling is better than burgess now (Darling was often hopeless) is simply ridiculous.

If Sheehan picks the right players in their right positions (and by God that’s a big if) and they are allowed to settle and “jelly”, then I think we might have a fair bit more than people think. Not to be promoted, that’s equally ridiculous, but to give any team a run for their money.

Anyway, we’ll soon see. Prediction posts of any sort rarely age well, so let’s just all agree we have no idea what will happen and maybe enjoy the usual roller coaster.

Our start is statically the hardest in the opening 10 games in the entire division.

The Championship this season will be super difficult to call, there are no sides in the division that stand head and shoulders above everyone else like Burnley and Leeds last season, even the relegated sides are in various states of chaos.

The closest to that category would be Sheffield United and perhaps Leicester, but the former have had to let go of a number of their high earners after failing to go up last season and the latter are facing potentially TWO points deductions for consistently breaking EFL PSR rules.

I think if we had all our players fit, people would feel a lot better about starting the season. As it is we are a little short but with Cabango, Santos and Vipotnik fit we’d be able to field a decently competitive team. Was hoping a striker would be in this week but not looking likely now.

We've got nothing off the bench though.

Even likes kf derby have Brewster and clarke to rotate - we have nothing like that

Seems a lot of people are or have said the same and I personally couldn't disagree with them.
We don't seem to be looking at the foreign market as much as we should be, why is that!? Surely when they talk about punching above our weight then the foreign market is the correct route.

Course you need your players from these shores especially with experience but we have 2/3 non WP slots available coupled with players who pass the criteria with WP.

It needs to be better and already a sense of deja vu is kicking in after a decent start.
Do we know for certain that we aren't looking at the foreign market, though? I've been quite impressed by how the club have managed to keep some key transfer negotiations quiet until the deal is done. I'd be surprised if they aren't looking for our next striker internationally. Let's hope so, anyway.

Well I think it is great that we have a new poster on here. Cynics might suggest that @SwanseaBoy123 is a Bluebird WUM but I say they should hang their heads in shame and welcome our new friend.
