If Idah falls through, wonder if we've got a last minute ace up our sleeve?
Hoping it’s Celtic who have a last minute back up rather than us having to scrape the barrel.

Sounds like they have been pissing about all window trying to get a cheap deal for Dolberg, unwilling to pay the £10m he’s worth. Then Ajax swoop in and they’re out of the race on deadline day.

Really would be a shame if our main target falls through because Celtic are a shambles.

Yeah, through no fault of our own, we're caught up in their mess now.
Fingers crossed it all works out before 7pm!

I’ve gone from being a child of Championship Manager, knowing every single detail of every player on Planet Earth, to a middle aged man who hasn’t heard of a single player mentioned in this transfer window….. including Adam Idah and Newcastle’s £70m German signing.
Snap.
It would take Harry Kane for me to actually say “wow!”.

Anyone hearing that West Ham have been talking with us about possibly calling Casey back from his loan?

I’m extremely unfazed if Idah does fall through. Certainly wouldn’t want us to panic. We’ll be ok with what we have until January.

If he does come, even better.
Depth is always good in this league, but with Vip kicking on and the supposed price for Idah, I will not envy Sheehan's man management duties

Essential we bring in talent up front though.

Currently if Vip gets injured, we’re looking at a season of Cullen as our leading man, or Bobby Wales who is a complete unknown.

We also can’t know if he’ll keep up this form.

Joel Cotterill off to BR on a loan after signing a new contract
