• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

What CB are we interested in?

Only now able to catch up with things.

Idah and the LB the only solid ones so far?
There was a rumour from somewhere we’re looking at adding a CB, haven’t seen anything about W Ham calling him back.

Marc Guéhi is having his medical ahead of a move to Liverpool. Great signing for player and club.

God I miss Guéhi leading our back line.

We used to moan about Man United reinforcing their dominance by spending big on players every season, at least until the takeover. Liverpool this summer have far exceeded anything United used to do, certainly in amount spent (over £400m!) and quite possibly in quality too.

Essential we bring in talent up front though.

Currently if Vip gets injured, we’re looking at a season of Cullen as our leading man, or Bobby Wales who is a complete unknown.

We also can’t know if he’ll keep up this form.
Completely agree. I'm just feeling some optimism about the team and this is my coping mechinism

Sky Sports apparently reported that Idah has passed his medical and we are just waiting for Celtic to finish some paperwork, Sam-Smith seems to be a done deal so it’s just the winger and CB that seems up in the air at the moment. And when my alarm clock went off this morning I had no idea we wanted or needed either. So my bottle of water is half full right now.

We've had a great window even if we bring no one in today imo.

We probably won’t sign Benson but if we can, it adds so much to our right hand side. Still hoping we can get a RW over the line even if it isn’t anyone linked.

To be fair to them they’ve lost Nunez, Luis Diaz, Jota and Trent this window. They needed a massive rebuild.

RIP Jota

That story also says Obafemi and Delcroix are free to find new clubs. No to Obafemi but if the club are seriously looking for another CB, I wouldn't say no to Delcroix at the right price.
Imagine they'd let him go for pretty much nothing, but the wages would be higher than we'd want to pay for a 4th/5th choice centre-half
