Keith seems confident we have landed both Benson and Tadcaster's finest, Samuel Smith. I wouldn't be surprised if the club introduce them in the morning now for maximum retweet potential. I don't know how the system works in the Championship, but Premier League clubs have until 11pm to submit a 'deal sheet' which says 'we are working on this transfer but haven't yet got it over the line' and then until 1am tomorrow morning to finish the job, so the 7pm deadline is a bit of a joke really.

(I'm back from dinner and doomscrolling again.)

It's the latter. It's the artist formerly known as Dwight Yorke/Andy Cole/La Jolla Jack and presumably others I'm forgetting.
