There was a big thing made about we had the toughest start to the season over other clubs.

We’ve got a shed full of new players, who’ve just been jetting all over the world. Give them a month or so to settle in before you start flapping. We’ve done alright all things considered.

Uppafuckingswans
...This, in spades.

Ecb is right, for the most part we ain't exciting nor entertaining.

What proper jacks crave is: Winning effectively, efficiently and entertainingly with an innovative leading edge brand, raising the bar and punching well beyond our means.

A few of us here were inculcated in the Swansea way of playing (through the Academy) - it was always the above Way, where possession of the ball was sacrosanct. Most clubs now adopt that same way through their Academy young guns, and for the most part discard it in the latter stages where big, physical athletes prevail, and the tekkers lads are binned.

We were different - we recognised the right way of playing can work through the academy and on to the men's game - the lower divisions to the highest level - it set us apart in a magical way.

WE proper jacks therefore crave the art of the possible once more - the bar is set high - and managers like Sheeezy will be measured against that bar, always.

You seem to be forgeting that we are having a rebuild of the club to raise us from the former nadir of piss poor ownership and management. That takes time and money.

Your word salads of false equivalences, outmoded doctrines and sniffing your own farts is risible. When ECB refered to your "Vanilla" comment he wasn't lionising you, he was pointing out the stopped clock moment.

I never bought the "tough start" nonsense. This was declared before a ball was kicked and the Championship's overwhelming characteristic is being unpredictable.
The average position of the 5 teams we've played so far is 17th and, apart from Middlesbrough, the other 4 teams have won 2 out of 20 games.

People who think Sheehan needs to go when we are 7th after 5 games need to fuck off out of our fanbase especially the ones that never go to a game and put nothing into our club.
I haven’t seen anyone say he should go but quite possibly they are on social media sites? No idea.

Anyway, for what it’s worth, which is very little to be fair, any extreme reactions one way or the other at the moment seem to me to be misplaced.

We look like a nice team, definitely more solid at the back, but at the moment without that spark of creativity that can turn a nice team into a genuine candidate to do anything very much.

Whether we will improve creatively or not, at this point is impossible to predict. If we do, we stand a chance of pushing on, and if we don’t, we’ll probably have a solid season around the upper end of mid table. I’m sure we all hope for the former, but wouldn’t be devastated by the latter.

Someone, I can’t remember who, compared us to the promotion team. I don’t think that is a realistic comparison to be honest - we had a few in that team who were genuinely a class above.
For me so far, we are playing more entertaining football than we were, but have some way to go. We’re still too slow to create much.

We won’t really know until at least the end of October how the season will go.

LaJolla said "WE now deserve a Next Level manager to re-calibrate and reset back onto our elevated course........"

Isn't that saying we should replace the manager?
I've seen a few people, dare I say even though I am a fan of the other site, too much scrutiny on yesterday game and Sheehan. Seems like when those who are on the fence with Sheehan are looking at any opportunity to attack when we drop points. Again, love the other site, but they are like we all did slag off VP and said he needs to go. But never said we need to back track. Yes VP gave us all reason to say he wasn't good enough and he isn't suddenly Harland, but credit needs to be given. Alot of people don't like being proven wrong but love it when they think they are right...

WE absolutely now need and deserve a Next Level manager to deliver our Next Level, founded upon Next Level investment, best in class business modus operandi and best in class operators.

Whether Sheeeez is the Next Level best in class we deserve is highly debatable. I have my massive doubts, in so many ways.

'Highly debatable' is what excellent forums are all about, and we are blessed to have some highly prominent debaters right here, right now on the Swans' very best football forum......

Exciting, vibrant Next Level times

Oh, to be honest, I take absolutely no notice of what that account says. He has various accounts on here all of which take contrary positions for the sake of it. I was talking about actual people.

I haven’t read the other site to be honest, so if they are saying he should go on there that’s a strangely extreme view in my opinion.

Joking aside and I have made a lot of jokes about Nottinghill, LaJolla or whatever account he uses today. It's pretty sad that someone has to spend their time creating accounts to just wind people up. I spend alot of time on this forum as I like the insight and banter. But incredibly sad, he really needs help. I think we just ignore him. If it is him 😛😛. Maybe it's Martin or Williams? Who knows, who's cares.
