• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Just got home after the game and have to ask if Innoussa was fouled in the area late on. I thought he’d been dragged to the floor well inside the area. Did anyone see this?
50/50 I think although the defender was never looking at the ball

Another fantastic performance and we don't win. When are we going to start getting what we deserve.
When we can take our chances and put the ball in the net far more often than we do. Need to score more goals,, or it may yet come back to bite us on the arse. Just imagine what a boost it would have given everybody to have leapt above both Southampton and Birmingham with victory today. Instead people are mentioning the gap to the relegation spots is down from 8pts to 6pts. We are as weak as piss when it comes down to scoring goals, take Vipotnik tally out of it and we would already have one foot in League 1.

Yeah but a key difference between then and now is we had low xg and low goals. Now our xg each game is steadily improving and the goals will follow. We were unlucky today not to get more.

I eat my previous words. Very good first half by Vipotnik on and off the ball. Linked play well and won a number of headers. Ran out of steam in the second like a few which is understandable. Keep it up Jan. Separately, I’m still seething after such a one sided reffing display in the second half. Vip about to pull the trigger and pulls it back for our free kick.

Enjoying watching us so much more recently. The high press is just so much more entertaining and the risk v reward in doing that seems much better than most other styles these days.

Still frustrating, as I’m sure many have mentioned, when we make the wrong decision/play a poor pass when in really good areas. Should have been 2/3 up at half time.

Energy levels are going to be the issue but a win on Tuesday and that’ll be 16 points from 18 at home.

Looking forward to the rest of the season even though it’s annoying we keep having to look over our shoulders.

Well that remains to be seen , nobody at this moment in time can tell if more goals will be coming. If Vipotnik had a bad injury we may well see far less goals. Up to this point it's simple , we aren't scoring anywhere near enough goals, and the 6th lowest scorers in the division, yet somehow have a striker that's close to the top of the championship scoring charts. Doesn't say much for the rest does it?

I’d argue most people with eyes can see our chance creation is a lot better recently under Matos.

Genuine question. Is it possible that the ref had forgotten to pack his cards? Normally I'd put it down to a very fairly played game, however, Brum in particular did a lot of pulling back on shirts, which normally automatically means a yellow. I actually think he had no cards on him.

Entertaining evening. Could easily have won and could easily have lost.
How did Ronald hit the woodwork when it was so much easier to score?
How did Fulton get that tackle in that denied them a certain goal?
I thought we ran out of steam and the press was half hearted from 50 minutes on.
I have a suspicion that if we'd gone 2 - 0 up it would have ended 2 - 2.

Yes, the enjoyment is back even if some extra quality is needed. What's so refreshing for me, apart from the press, is the willingness to go forward, both with pace and directness. The old and slow sideways/backwards stuff was just doing my head in. I am actually looking forward to games these days. Thanks Vitor.

We defintely
Need some attaxking players to bring on now

Idah's injury was unfortunate as i think he would have grabbed a few more Goals now in this system

Well that was frustrating

A good first half where we should have had enough in us to get a second.
What is it with us that we allow the initiative drift away from us
The equaliser was coming where our first half press and energy was lost
The ref was atrocious and inept, maybe the bias in me says in favour of of Birmingham.
Over the 90 mins we should have won but seem again to take wrong options
Birmingham were as many a more physical side.
Hitting the woodwork 3 times so very close to the second
The subs weakened us and offered very little
Very frustrated
