Fulton was so amazing today he made a goal scoring tackle and almost scored a goal with the tackle.Great save from Fultons effort![]()
50/50 I think although the defender was never looking at the ballJust got home after the game and have to ask if Innoussa was fouled in the area late on. I thought he’d been dragged to the floor well inside the area. Did anyone see this?
When we can take our chances and put the ball in the net far more often than we do. Need to score more goals,, or it may yet come back to bite us on the arse. Just imagine what a boost it would have given everybody to have leapt above both Southampton and Birmingham with victory today. Instead people are mentioning the gap to the relegation spots is down from 8pts to 6pts. We are as weak as piss when it comes down to scoring goals, take Vipotnik tally out of it and we would already have one foot in League 1.Another fantastic performance and we don't win. When are we going to start getting what we deserve.
Agree. Not his best by his very standards but played a lot of high energy minutes for a youngun. He wasn't great tonight
Yeah but a key difference between then and now is we had low xg and low goals. Now our xg each game is steadily improving and the goals will follow. We were unlucky today not to get more. When we can take our chances and put the ball in the net far more often than we do. Need to score more goals,, or it may yet come back to bite us on the arse. Well that remains to be seen , nobody at this moment in time can tell if more goals will be coming. If Vipotnik had a bad injury we may well see far less goals. Up to this point it's simple , we aren't scoring anywhere near enough goals, and the 6th lowest scorers in the division, yet somehow have a striker that's close to the top of the championship scoring charts. Doesn't say much for the rest does it?Yeah but a key difference between then and now is we had low xg and low goals. Now our xg each game is steadily improving and the goals will follow. I’d argue most people with eyes can see our chance creation is a lot better recently under Matos.Well that remains to be seen , nobody at this moment in time can tell if more goals will be coming. Yes, the enjoyment is back even if some extra quality is needed. What's so refreshing for me, apart from the press, is the willingness to go forward, both with pace and directness. The old and slow sideways/backwards stuff was just doing my head in. I am actually looking forward to games these days. Thanks Vitor.Enjoying watching us so much more recently. The high press is just so much more entertaining and the risk v reward in doing that seems much better than most other styles these days.
