As an internationally leading centre in infectious disease of course Wellcome (mostly via the centre for Tropical Medicine in Malawi) and to a lesser extent Gates Foundation are funders, though UKRI is the largest. All in the public domain. Do you know who is funding anti-vex misinformation and Covid conspiracy theories?

I take it you don’t contribute to or receive a pension? Or have any investments. As if you do your relationship to Pharma and Healthcare is the same as Wellcome’s. My nephew lives in Blackheath and he’s double jabbed but caught the variant. Being asthmatic it’s been a tough few weeks for him. Had he not been jabbed he’d have been in the hospital.

This is what he went through
Symbicort steroid inhaler x 4 daily
Ventolin inhaler x 4 daily
Paracetamol
Ibuprofen
A weeks dose of amoxicillin
A weeks dose of prednisone steroids
A weeks worth of lansoprazole
Zopiclone

Without the jabs he wouldn’t need the above. Instead he’d be in intubation.

We are nowhere near being out of the woods. A worrying time for my family especially my sister.

At our University we are sticking to 2m distancing which is essentially halving our capacity in lecture rooms. I believe some courses in Swansea Uni are pretty much fully online for semester 1 at least, except for the odd seminar. What are you doing up with you, Prof?
