Any Williams Supporters Out There?

How can he not go after the results of late? Had his head turned by the supposed interest from West Brom and the club hasn't been the same since. Players seem to have given up playing for him and in return he's publicly throwing them under a bus. We are not losing games anymore, we are being absolutely hammered. Home crowds are staying away in their thousands at a time when the club are hoping supporters are going to purchase season tickets. The sight of the South stand virtually empty on Tuesday night was a telling factor, in that fans have had enough , and don't find watching the Swans attractive anymore. It cannot continue like this anymore and change is needed urgently.
How could you miss saying ‘driven over them with his bus’?

Naughty step for you!

As to the thread, I still love Willie, obviously.

There's a lot of beep beep beep going on tonight, people have quickly changed their tune over the last couple of weeks. I thought he was shit about a month after he got here.
It’s nothing to do with reversing. A month ago we were ninth in the table and had just won three of our last five games. We hadn’t lost by more than one goal all season. It wasn’t perfect by any means but we were doing fine - no reason to be sacking the manager every season if we’re in the top half.

I don’t know wtf had happened since then but we look like an absolute car crash at the moment and we’re leaking goals all over the place against crap teams and are in free-fall.

I think I posted my reply to the post you replied to in the wrong thread. :ROFLMAO:

Twitter is still replete with grown men with a lob on for Russ, but the same people hate Williams despite them being more or less the same person. Must be the hair.

Ninth in the table😂 papering over the cracks and he was sweet talking the fans just like russwig. I judged him on the quality of the football being played not his sweet nothings or results.

I think I've seen us play two decent games of football since he took over. You got taken in by him just like most got taken in by russy mart.

The Russ fan boys will probably absolutely hate the type of new manager we now need.

In hindsight, Duff spoke a lot of sense. You could probably say he was unlucky to lose his job given the records of who he replaced and who replaced him.

Edit - and his record everywhere else he's managed.

Duff did himself few favours with the comments about the Derby. What he said was 100% true, but the truth is the last thing a lot of people like to hear. If he'd done the same as others and played up the importance then maybe he'd have bought himself more time to ride through the rough results.

Certainly I don't get the hate for him that's evident in places.

Am I surprised by what is happening on the pitch? Not in the slightest.

For me this type of slump has always been on the cards for Williams. It is his lack of ability to adapt and change things when needed. That's why we tend to cling on for dear life at the end of games.

The football on display is mind numbingly boring as well and very predictable.

Sick and tired of watching a gormless looking Williams, standing in the technical area, arms folded, doing the square root of nothing when the wheels are literally falling off on the pitch.

We will see another vote with the feet on Saturday.
With the home fans yes, think Coventry will bring a few to bolster the attendance. If there's any less in the South stand than there were for Sheffield United they really should think of closing it and putting the fans elsewhere.

Not forgetting the fact that it was the most shapeless team that was seen since the Cusack reign.
Things are quite bad in the last handful of games but I remember thinking watching all games with Duff in charge "what the fuck is he trying to do"

It was terrible.

Yeah, that's the kind of nonsensical hyperbole often used on the subject of Duff. Truth is we regularly saw far, far worse than anything he came up with the season before. Christ, the home defeats to Stoke and Middlesborough alone should have seen Russy sacked.

😂
It can't be passed off because it was definitely awful under Duff.
Was it really that bad given we finished in the top 10 the season before although I don't see the relevance of comparing Duff to someone else, surely he gets judged on his own actions and once again the board should be questioned with regards to what should have happened in the games you highlight.

I disagree. Franco was a good signing Ronald not shabby either. Not sure what happened with Abbey signing. Any manager worth his salt could get a tune out of our current squad.
Exactly. He’s lost the dressing room. He needs to go now or we will be drawn further into a relegation scrap.
