Time to hang up your boots, certainly at international level, and bed in some youth.

Bale has been magnificent for us over the years and dragged us to three finals which we should be grateful for. Not just his play but his enthusiasm and commitment to the cause. Compare and contrast to a certain Giggs, R.
Time to pass the baton on and hope that the likes of Johnson develop into something special.

Nobody can argue with Bales place in the squad on ability l
Ramsey? Shouldnt have had a hope in hell, has been crap for years and barring the Euros in 2016 , has never been a talisman like Bale has
Joe is simply injured.
JackFish said:Who do you want Page to start instead of Ramsey though? Agree he’s way past his best and not suited to playing CM either, but since JA couldn’t play 90 minutes today the other options were Joe Morrell and Dylan Levitt. No offence to those guys but if Ramsey isn’t World Cup quality what are they?

Actually the answer is obvious. Oliver Cooper. But Pagey scuppered that one.
Could always do Johnno Williams in his bath chair I suppose. Would have the same impact on the game as Ramsey.
Skippyjack said:Ramsey could never do the basics with Wales, he keeps trying elaborate flicks that usually don't come off, attitude problem, plus he's been gash for years now anyway, so it's no shock, Bale is clearly not what he was, two players that should retire imminently for the good of the squad, take Hennessey, Johnny Williams, Gunter, Tony Roberts, Page and Symons away from international football, because they're not international standard anything.. maybe Mepham an all, he's dog turd
Niigata Jack said:Ramsey as always been vastly overrated in my honest opinion, its just the big moments he has had and there's no denying that he hasn't had great moments have clouded people's judgement.
Disagree on Hennessy, he's kept us in plenty of games including the USA game, just what he was thinking in blasting out so far today though I've no idea.
