Good luck to her - at 30 notes to watch a film with a pizza she needs to drum up some business.

That’s a fair point. Most of the films she shows are years old too. Only 56 seats mind. I could fill two.

60 notes for a pizza and the chance to watch the hilarious 'Elf' (again?). I'm sure you've already signed up

Advertising it on the BBC is a bit dumb.

Good publicity though. And she gets to be a martyr when she’s prosecuted for “making a stand”.

Wounder if she's related to the other "covid martyr" Noah Redfern... 🤔

Swansea Council will be all over this, be interesting to see how it pans out.

It's all a bit of a nonsense, went to Wales v Fiji just a cursory glance at my pass, less than a second really, same at the Swans. No check of ID with a Covid pass makes it all meaningless. She's after the publicity otherwise she'd do the minimum like many other businesses.

I think the powers-that-be (Welsh gov, Swans etc.) rely on most people complying and not risking turning up with an invalid pass etc. - sort of makes sense, would take hours to get into venues if scrutinised. It's a balance I suppose.

I agree it's all over the place.
Could back fire on her mind, if shes closed down and fined.

She’s put her head on the block by opening her mouth and drawing attention to herself, if she’d said nowt nobody’d be any the wiser.

That’s exactly right. Those saying “waste of time they’re not checking properly” are missing the point. Compliance with the vast majority of laws isn’t checked regularly or enforced consistently. They’re there because most people will comply because they ARE laws amd they won’t want to run the risk of getting caught and/or refused entry to a venue like the Liberty.

My mate had dealings with her 2 years ago. A horrible woman who didn't want to promote a gig my mate put on at her gaff, then moaned when the numbers were not that high on the night despite her agreeing to promote the gig via her social media.

Right on cue, the council turn up and shut her down for 28 days! I won’t be contributing to the crowd funding appeal that’s for sure.

Edit, apparently the CF appeal has raised over £21k! Mental.

Turns out she’s related to the fella who runs Noah’s Yard. So it must run in the family.
