You have to wonder when you look at his numbers if this is all agent talk though....

Possibly, it wouldn't be the first pile of pish that the Daily Record have totted out, in fact, if my memory serves me right, when they ran the story back in May Postecoglou was basically on this way down the M74 as it went to print...

It's the same every Transfer Window, a million and one players names are mentioned here there and everywhere and apart from the odd ones very few actually arrive here, I used to get excited about some of the names mentioned and I still do with some of the names mentioned, but its all rather amusing never the less.

I'm with Phillip on this one, I can't see us being in the market for another Striker if I'm honest.

Wasn't intended to be patronising, apologies if it was delivered that way Phil.

Accepted and happy to also accept that maybe I took it the wrong way so no offence caused.

There have been calls for this sort of thing from you to be banned, I’m all for free speech but this constant string of intentional mistruths certainly tests that sentiment.

One of the things for me that makes a forum - and any form of social media - will be things like the posts of Daps.

He has posted similar for years and will (I am sure) openly admit that some of his statements are quite far from the truth whilst others hit the bullseye.

Most (maybe even himself) take him with a large pinch of salt and I don't buy an argument that it is damaging the club (I still refuse to believe that social media drives decisions of successful businessmen) nor would I support any call for him to be banned. He posts for me within the site guidelines

That one gained massive momentum, it was quite funny to watch

I thought one of the two Senna or David Villa, were genuinely close to happening? I'm sure I recall Brendan Rodgers talking about it a few years after, but can't remember which one.

on a separate note, I heard big Myk put it about a bit!

Yeah think it was Senna, he didn’t want to come if I remember.

Oh well at least we saw Llorente down here.

Fake transfer rumours are one thing, Phil. Don’t mind that, he’s done it forever as you say and part and parcel of a fun forum.

However recently there has been a change in order to cause disharmony between fans and owners. It’s as clear as day, and if I was to guess is in no small part down to their country of origin which makes it even worse to swallow.

So it’s nothing to do with businesses decision making, it’s about creating a negative atmosphere by spreading lies about the ownership.

An ownership that clearly wants to connect with the fan base.

It’s very damaging for relations between fans and owners when these lies spread and become taken as fact - which they do if left to fester long enough.

Rumours of RMs relationship status was posted on here not so long ago (and correctly deleted) - this is no different in my view, it’s designed to damage.

What fun comes from making up that the club has nothing to spend and the owners refuse to be pro active? It’s design is to only cause issues.
