If Cooper leaves...Who takes over?

I'd take Lampard, players will queue up to play under him, and he did do a fantastic job in the Championship for Derby.. but he probably believes he's better than Swansea and our owners are skint etc

I would like to see Cameron Toshack given a chance, most of the players we sold for big bucks the past few seasons were developed by him and many of those still in the squad would have played under him too.

The question though has to be if he would want to go near us after basically being looked over for the last two managerial vacancies.

Wife suggested it a few days ago and I agreed it was worth a punt...not just because she said so.

Edit: as my typing skills are as poor as my thinking skills. Doh!

I wouldn’t, look at the difference in Chelsea since they’ve brought a more experienced manager in. Lampard has many qualities, but I’d prefer to see him cut his teeth a bit mire before he took over at the Swans.

It was probably a good thing for frank, he has learnt that having a glittering career and being one of the most respected players doesn't count for much when being a manager

I'd also have like Cooper to cut his teeth more before he started with us. I mean just look at them

That's just nasty, it did make me laugh though 😁

On a serious note, the sooner he leaves our club the better. We won't get that lucky again with him. Take away our excellent start and our form was patchy at best. I still can't grasp how we didn't have one single shot on target in 90 minutes. Was Ayew even playing😢

Did donkey Moore have a shot either? Oh wait...

Fair dos though that Cooper comment was brilliant. Although my favourite - he could eat an apple through a tennis racket - fckin sensational 🤣🤣

P.s lampard ain’t coming here. Appleton or someone of that Ilk for me

Appleton was heavily linked before Cooper came here, and he just guided Lincoln to the play off final albeit a loss.
