• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Is it really working with/for Duff?

Eh? We played classic Martinball today, just lacking Piroe and Ntcham to do something. Back, side in, out, back, side, rinse and repeat. Nothing to do with sweat at all.

I disagree totally by what you say.

We continually played high crosses into the box from open play.
Sorry but I think you are off the mark with that one.

I have to disagree there whilst we did did throw some crosses in we preferred to try to work the ball into the box....I guess you were watching from a box today

f**k my eyes Roger, you are spot on there. Never thought I'd say that but credit where it's due.
What Roger says in a nutshell

Until we get new owners, we will never be better than we currently are. Our owners have ZERO ambition.

Our own history shows that.

I don’t understand what Duff sees. In his interview he sounds like he thinks we bossed that, peppered their goal with shots and played well.

In reality their keeper didn’t have a difficult save to make, the only time I thought we were about to score was when it opened up ahead of Patino and it was a desperate display of moving people around to see if something worked. It even too a while to realise we didn’t have a right back until Fulton slotted in there (and next minute he was tackling on the left touchline). No shape, little clue, not much desire and simply not good enough.

Their keeper made two very impressive saves today. The one stopping Darling’s shot was superb. Right behind that shot and the ball was moving like mad.

In the first half if he didn’t save Fulton’s shot then we probably wouldn’t be as frustrated as we are now.

I get peoples points, there’s still some questionable choices; but today I think what Duff said is fair regarding chances, we had enough to win the game and not taking them is not his fault alone.

Their keeper should be Wales number 1 really
