• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Coleman just needs to do what the rest of are and use his eyes when we play.

No need to over complicate things.
Yes I get that, my point is does he understand? Put me in charge of an American football team and I wouldn't have a scooby

He's a pretty successful businessman, you don't achieve that without having a modicum of common sense.

I understand the point you make and I agree he's not going to be a stupid guy. However our failure could be because we have sh*t players playing in good positions or we have good players playing in sh*t positions. How would a non football tactician know? The (poor) result would be the same

You don't need to be a football tactician to see where the majority of the fault lays.

Not sure. I've known a few 'successful businessmen' that are as thick as pigshit. Many have been American. You only have to look at their president and role model.

And the people who voted for him🤷🏻

Maybe I'm being to kind to our very own commander in chief.

Being a successful businessman is one thing. I like to think I'm pretty good at my job too but I wouldnt have a clue where to start in running a football club.

Neither does it appear does Andy Coleman

Is football common sense? just think a few seasons ago we were in with a chance of being promoted, if only we had bought/recruited in the january window huh? they were US owners.

If you're talking about the year we finished 4th and lost in the playoff final, we did spend in the January window. Whittaker, plus loans for Morris, Hourihane and Arriola. Hourihane especially wouldn't have been cheap.

Unfortunately the potentially better Yank got injured, the other Yank was poor, Hourihane was unexpectedly crap for us and Cooper didn't fancy Whittaker. So we can certainly say we spent badly, but we did spend.

I'm in the camp that thinks the squad are not as bad as we are seeing. I blame Williams, he's playing too many out of position. Is it any wonder some of them are failing/underperforming/p*ssed off
Exactly like the Russ moaning about the squad season when we went on a decent unbeaten run with the same squad he moaned about.
