The claims and counter claims over Jerusalem go back many centuries. Right now there are political issues on both sides. Just watched an Al-Jareera documentary about the settlers in the West Bank and how violent they are. People who have just stepped foot int he country and telling every Arab they see that the place 'is mine'. Burning and stealing olive groves from Palestinian people.

Then there are orthodox jews being forced into the army despite an agreement from the past that they wouldn't, many orthodox jews leave the army becoming secular.
