Or more likely our "targets" play in the Eerste Divisie or even the league bellow...Had a quick look and nothing that really stood out as a possibility except the lad Jacobs at Almere City.

It delivers the same thing either way.Just say you're not going to talk about players at other clubs then, it's easy enough to shut it down
Not really, the way he handled it it came across as if he's not in the loop with what's going on. If he'd batted it away and said he wasn't going to talk about it then it's dealt with and stops follow up questions. He's not the best at speaking publicly, as we saw with the whole West Brom fiasco blowing upIt delivers the same thing either way.
I didn't see an issue with his response. Not really, the way he handled it it came across as if he's not in the loop with what's going on. Fair enough.I didn't see an issue with his response.
I understand that people are now going to pick up on everything since the WBA situation but I think sometimes people just go over the top with these things.
Just my view.
And of those 4 players (you can add in Ben Lloyd) they have a total of 0 minutes of senior football this mid table season (albeit there have been injury issues). Does my head in.
Bringing back a diamond, or a piece of glass? hopefully not throwing the money away!Knowing Williams he was supposed to say he was off to Hull for a lads weekend.
Shocked didn’t think it would be that high, we used him as part of the Yates deal so hopefully we included a sell on fee.Hull have bid £1.5 million for Joseph, and it's thought £2 million may be needed to seal the deal. I wonder if we get a percentage of any sale?
I'm surprised at the amount as he's done quite well, but nothing spectacular.
The step up maybe big, but you never know how they'll perform until you try them. Ben Davies springs to mind. I was impressed with Govea last season so I hope he's given s chance when he's fit.We all love to see academy players given a chance but the reality is that the step up to Championship level from academy football is enormous. The best way to gauge the readiness of our players is how well our loanees do. Cotterrill and Congreve have done OK at League two level, but nothing exceptional. Josh Thomas has barely featured at all at Bromley.
The fact that Abdulai, Govea and Parker have all been given opportunities shows we are willing to give our prospects a chance, but of the three only Parker looks as if he could start on a regular basis in the near future. The fact that he's been given opportunities at such a young age shows that if there is enough talent we will give chances. It's a shame that Wilson and Lissah have been injured because they seem to be the next in line. But our academy prospects need to earn their chance. Throwing them in before they're ready is in no one's interests.
Joseph and Whittaker both turned out to be decent players then.Hull have bid £1.5 million for Joseph, and it's thought £2 million may be needed to seal the deal. I wonder if we get a percentage of any sale?
