• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Of all the nights to have a power cut, it has to be tonight. Thank fuck for that. I couldn’t stand to watch this meander towards nothing all night. Saving my last 5% charge for tomorrow’s alarm. Nos da.

I curse my old man for bringing me up a Swans fan sometimes 😂 At least the rest of the season will have something on it 👀

This went well...

Clutching at all the straws here, but if someone had told me at the turn of the year that we'd get 4 million quid for Grimes and we'd replace him till the end of the season with Lewis O'Brien in addition to bringing in Delcriox on loan and signing an exciting attacking midfielder to join in the summer, I'd not be getting the pitchforks out.

it's our absolutely disastrous form since the turn of the year that has made everyone freak the f*ck out as we hit deadline day; it's changed the perspective on all this. Fingers crossed we can pull something out of the bag at the death here. Failing that, there's no deadline day for sacking your manager, so that option's always there.

So when Darling returns, can Delcroix play full back? If so, I would play four across the back and push Key or Tymon up to midfield in a 4-3-3 with Franco and O'Brien.
That leaves the problem of where do we put our top scorer Cullen without putting him at no. 9? Unless we drop Key or Tymon and play Franco/OBrien/Cullen and Ronald/Vip/Bianchini.

No doubt Turniphead will play OBrien in goal and Vig at false 9.

EDIT: and I completely forgot Cooper is back.

Primarily a centre back but can cover at left back.
Would be as some say another square peg in a round hole.

I'd bench Cullen
